The Pull

Description of the work

The Pull is a cosmic material study of gravitational pull and boundaries. A black hole opens up at the center of the painting—painted with the "blackest black in the world." It swallows the light, absorbs every reflection—and inevitably draws the gaze into itself.

This nothingness is surrounded by a luminous spiral movement of iridescent colors and relief-like structures. Like a vortex of space and time in which matter, energy, and perception dissolve.
